"In Amazon.com's review of my new book, THE BIG DEAL, the first thing noted was how Alison Anders (GAS FOOD LODGING) made her initial break through a screenwriting competition. No question, this can be the best avenue for a new writer to gain credibility, and ultimately, Hollywood's attention."

--Thom Taylor, Author, The Big Deal: Hollywood's Million-Dollar Spec Script

Each year we guarantee that several executives will meet with The American Accolades' Grand Prize Winner.  These are some examples of meetings set in prior years*:

Arnold Kopelson Entertainment, Artisan, Basic Entertainment, Bridget Johnson Films, Columbia Studios / Sony, Davis Entertainment, Film Colony, Twentieth Century Fox, Hyde Park Entertainment, Jacobson Company, Jersey Films, Mace Neufeld Productions, MGM, Mostow / Lieberman, Silver Pictures, Universal Studios

*Note:  In prior competitions, we guaranteed the screenwriting competition grand prize winner several meetings with SPECIFIC individuals, but have discontinued this practice given the ever-changing entertainment industry terrain (e.g., new formation of companies, company deal expirations, executive job hopping, etc.).  We now guarantee at least 5 meetings with prominent industry professionals; however, the executives will be determined around the time the Grand Prize Winner is announced. This also gives us to find a good fit, setting meetings with executives that make the most sense for the genre of screenplay that wins.
